Avionics Technician Opportunity in Wichita, KS
Job Description:
• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment.
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
• Adhere to General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hangar positions.
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations.
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed.
• You have the ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
• You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
• Seeking Avionics techs that are experienced in troubleshooting Garmin, Collins, Honeywell or Sat-Com.
• 2+ years of trouble shooting experience on Corporate/ Business, a
• nd Regional Aircraft.
• Requires tools (tools will need to be etched and shadowed).
• A&P NOT required.
Pay:
• $35/hour – $45/hour
• Per diem for eligible candidates
Work Schedule:
• Must be open to ALL shifts – 1st, 2nd, weekend shifts.
• 1st Shift: Monday – Friday: 6:42am – 3:12pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday: 3:42pm – 11:12pm
• 3rd Shift: Monday – Friday: 11:12pm – 6:42am
• 4th Shift (weekends): Friday – Sunday: 5:00am – 5:00pm
Placement Options:
• 6 Month Contract to Hire

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
