Job Title: Avionics Technician in Wichita, KS

Job Description

• This role involves functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing avionics and electrical systems, as well as preparing aircraft for flight test and airworthiness certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems.
• Prepare aircraft for flight tests and ensure airworthiness certification.
• Repair, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment with limited supervision.
• Perform and document work performed according to appropriate manuals and regulations.
• Operate ground support equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of avionics troubleshooting experience on corporate aircraft.
• Proficiency in navigation and communication systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in flight line, repair station, and MRO environments.

Work Environment

• Work in a non-climate controlled environment within the service center department in Wichita, KS. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and 3:12 pm to 11:42 pm. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

Pay

• $35-$55/hr

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
