Qualifications:- Minimum of 6 years of C-130 Electrical and Environmental Systems (E&E, 2A6X6) experience.
- Operational knowledge and ability to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft fire and overheat detection system.
- Operational knowledge and ability to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft bleed air systems.
- Operational knowledge and ability to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft air conditioning, environmental, and cabin pressurization systems.
- Operational knowledge and ability to inspect, troubleshoot and repair aircraft anti-skid braking system.
- Operational knowledge and ability to operate the Data Transfer and Diagnostic System (DTADS).
- Proficient with using USAF Technical Orders and documenting AFTO 781 Forms.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
Desired skills:
- Familiar with the Isochronal / Letter Check inspection process.
- Previously performed as 7-Level or Equivalent, Electrical and Environmental Systems Technician with Three (3) years of C-130J flight line aircraft experience.
- Experience with inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics and electrical systems (GAC, Com/Nav, EW, Sensors)
- Experience in fabricating, installing, routing, terminating, soldering, and repairing electrical wiring harnesses or a variety of electrical components, and equipment associated with aircraft systems functionality.
- Knowledge of HAZMAT/HAZWASTE, corrosion control, inspection/repair, maintenance inspection, aircraft launch and recovery, aircraft servicing, towing, and jacking/shoring of aircraft.
