Summary:
Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues beyond standard manuals.
Perform circuit analysis, waveform calculations, and signal flow tracing using advanced test equipment (pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, etc.).
Conduct operational and bench testing/troubleshooting per DOD, OEM, and company directives.
Assemble, install, inspect, and modify wiring bundles and avionics components.
Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams to perform assigned work.
Diagnose and correct malfunctions in assembly processes.
Document repairs, modifications, and inspections to ensure compliance.
Assist and train junior employees; may lead teams on complex tasks.
Support cross-functional teams (mechanics, structures, electrics) to meet cost and schedule targets.
Adhere to safety standards, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and hazardous energy protocols.
Maintain required certifications, licenses, and permits.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
7+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with the E-4B platform.
Experience with aircraft avionics systems (Comm/Nav, Data Links, Weapons, Radar, Electronic Warfare).
4+ years reading and interpreting schematics, specs, and drawings.
3+ years working with aircraft computer systems and office software.
Applied mathematics/statistics knowledge.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
