As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical and electronic components on printed circuit boards, wiring harnesses, power supplies, and other electrical assemblies or sub-assemblies. This role involves all benchwork, with a focus on building harnesses for aircrafts to the IPC Standard. You must be able to construct harnesses in a timely manner with precision. Additionally, 10 of the work involves box build-up, requiring the ability to read drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Use wiring diagrams to layout and secure wires.
• Strip wires and cut heat shrink.
• Attach terminals and cover wires.
• Shrink tubing with a heat gun and interlace multiple wires.
• Examine connectors, seal and crimp wires.
• Attach terminals and wires to male and female housings.
• Connect wires to housing and attach connectors.

• Proficiency in harness assembly and IPC Certificate.
• Experience in cable assembly, blueprint reading, and electrical assembly.
• Skilled in wiring, soldering, and using hand tools.
• Ability to read schematics and perform electrical assembly.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in related field.
• High School Diploma.

• IPC 610 Certificate preferred for wire harness assembly.
• IPC 620 and IPC J-STD Certificates are a plus.
• Experience in assembly of aircraft harnesses.
• Experience from any industry in wire harness assembly is acceptable.
• Soldering skills required.
• Candidates fresh out of the military with I-Level experience are welcome.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, air-conditioned facility equipped with break rooms. Be open to working either the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or the 2nd shift from 3:00 pm onwards. The environment is conducive to productivity and comfort.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Huntsville, Alabama.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.00/hr.
