Our team is looking for an Electronics O/H Test Technician II to join them for a temporary 6-month assignment. You will report to the Production Cell Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the Electronics O/H Test Technician II role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
General knowledge equivalent to high school education
Must have at least 8 years of experience in the aerospace industry preferably in the fields of electrical/electronic equipment, avionics, and electronic test equipment;
Must know how to read, comprehend and understand engineering prints/electrical schematics, specifications
Knowledgeable with the use of mechanical and electronic measuring instruments and equipment such as: calipers, height gages, depth indicators, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, etc.
Basic knowledge of office software (Word, excel, etc.); Must be familiar with using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMM’s, di-electric test equipment, frequency generators, counters
Familiarize themselves with Ontics AS9100 Quality System;
Ability to assemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic devices to component Level.
As a Electronics O/H Test Technician II, you will:
Be responsible for manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting high precision electronic products for use in aircraft and other aerospace and defense systems
Perform acceptance testing in order to determine whether the accessory (products) meets specifications relating to quality, workmanship, dimensions, functionality and performance
Build high quality product; Use professional judgment based on their knowledge and experience to ensure that only high quality product is deemed acceptable
Create assemblies per blueprints/schematics and specifications daily
Construct the required set ups necessary to test units
Perform in-process testing per part; Identify parts using stamp procedures; Recommend changes to processes
Meet production schedules daily
Develop improvement ideas to promote continuous improvement; Cross train on a variety of products and functions; Read blueprints
Keep all documents up to date within the work order packages during the work process;
