JOB TITLE: F-16 Avionics Technician

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shifts: Monday Thursday
1st Shift: 6:00 am 4:30 pm
2nd Shift: 4:30 pm 3:00 am (post-training assignment)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Build and install electrical harnesses and components.
Route various wires and cables throughout aircraft components.
Terminate cables/wires through crimping or soldering.
Perform operational checks on installed harnesses.
Conduct continuity tests and operational checks using OHM meters and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems based on assigned area.
Report test results in prescribed formats.
Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
Ensure work adheres to design specifications and operational requirements.
Perform general mechanical installs, testing, and inspections as required on the F-16 production line.
OHM meters and other electrical test equipment.
Crimping tools, soldering tools, and general routing tools.
Requirements:
Aircraft harness build-up and installation.
Wire/cable routing and termination (crimping, soldering).
Ability to read electrical schematics and wire harness prints.
Experience performing operational checks and continuity testing.
4 6 years of relevant experience in avionics/electrical systems.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Skills:
Avionics system testing.
Knowledge of aircraft system operation.
Experience interpreting wire harness prints for complex assemblies.
