Position Overview
The F-16 Instructor Pilot (IP) will provide academic, simulator, and flight instruction supporting Basic Course (B-Course), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), Flight Lead Upgrade (FLUG), and Instructor Pilot Upgrade (IPUG) training for Argentine F-16 pilots.
The selected pilot will play a critical role in pilot proficiency, operational readiness, flight safety, and standardization while working closely with leadership and international partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, simulator, and in-flight F-16 instruction
- Support B-Course, MQT, FLUG, and IPUG training programs
- Reinforce operational standardization and best practices
- Provide instructional feedback and progress updates
- Coordinate with leadership and host nation personnel
- Collect and disseminate lessons learned
- Deploy as required to support mission objectives
- Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and security procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Previously qualified F-16 Instructor Pilot within the past 8 years
- Minimum 2 years of fighter aircraft Instructor Pilot experience
- Minimum 1,000 hours Pilot-In-Command (PIC) time in DoD or allied fighter aircraft
- FAA Class II Medical
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret Clearance and host-nation clearances
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel internationally and work flexible schedules
- Valid U.S. passport with no travel restrictions
