This position will be part of the Lockheed Martin Greenville Site Operations, supporting Aircraft delivery Maintenance of the F-16 at Greenville, South Carolina. Provides support by installing electrical harnesses and performing operational checks, post modification testing, troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems on aircraft. Assist with flight line maintenance as required. Launch and Recovery, Preflight/post-flight inspections/maintenance, and other flightline tasks as assigned.

Greenville F16 Production runs on a 7 day work week.

This position may be assigned to any of the working schedules listed below:

1st Shift: 4X10A FLEX- 4 10 hr days Mon-Thurs; Fr/Sa/Su off. 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

2nd Shift: 4X10A FLEX- 4 10 hr days Mon-Thurs; Fr/Sa/Su off. 4:30 pm to 3:00 am

Working schedule will be provided after a candidate has accepted a position, passed background check and has completed onboarding and training.

Other responsibilities include:

• Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, twist, and work on or in the aircraft.
• Frequently lift and/or push or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally sit, climb, and balance.
• Perform repetitive movements and work overhead.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean, FOD-free work area.
• Properly use, handle and dispose of hazardous materials, and toxic or caustic chemicals per Government regulations and company procedures
• Read and speak English.

• Mission essential functions and other duties may be assigned as required.

• Candidate will be required to participate on the Hydrazine Response team as required

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed to perform job tasks. The employee is regularly exposed to vibration.

• The candidate will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, high, precarious places, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 3-8 years demonstrated experience to complete operational test of electronics and test equipment including major troubleshooting on Aircraft with at least 2 years of Legacy fighter flightline experience or other closely related aircraft flightline experience.

Ability to understand and use complex circuit diagrams, prints and specifications.

Previous Aircraft Avionics or Electrical and Environmental Experience to include troubleshooting.
Desired Skills:
Military Flightline Experience (F-16 Preferred)

Experience as a USAF skill 5 or 7 level (or equivalent) in their career field.

Experience using electrical, radio, and radar testing equipment and instruments.

Military/Commercial aircraft modification installation experience including wire harness installation and check out procedures.

Ability to interpret installation drawings, install and route electrical cable assemblies, perform multiple termination processes and perform continuity checks in accordance with standard processes.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
