JOB TITLE: F-18 Avionics Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: NAS Lemoore, CA
PAY RATE: $29-34/hour

Summary:
Plan, conduct, and document tests on avionics systems and subsystems.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve test issues and anomalies.
Contribute to the development of original test plans and recommend improvements to test procedures and processes.
Plan preventive maintenance and ensure the readiness and availability of test systems.
Train and guide entry-level personnel in routine test processes and equipment operation.
Identify and recommend new test equipment, processes, and methods.
Perform work requiring extensive technical experience, judgment, and interpretation of general requirements to meet specific test objectives.
Develop new test methods and introduce innovative improvements to existing test procedures, processes, and equipment.
Provide on-the-job training to intermediate-level personnel, supporting them through complex testing challenges.
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance (required prior to start).
High school diploma or GED
1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to perform complex fault isolation on avionics equipment.
Aerospace-quality soldering skills.
Proficiency using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other fault isolation equipment.
Strong understanding of electronics and avionics theory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Depot-level F-18 avionics repair experience.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
