Responsibilities:
Perform precision tube installation and orbital tube welding in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.
Set up and operate machines for welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, and tube bending.
Execute composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
Assemble mechanical, electro-mechanical, and avionics components and wire harnesses.
Conduct soldering on electronic products and prepare/test fixtures for system evaluations.
Perform surface treatment including organic chemical conversion, paint prep, and coating applications.
Work on complex systems across various fabrication disciplines.
Support cross-functional shop needs including secondary duties, cleanup, and administrative functions.
Obtain and maintain required manufacturing certifications and associated physical examinations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and typically 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Orbital Tube Weld Certification is required.
Experience in tube installation is required.
Boeing experience is preferred.
Willingness to perform tasks across multiple fabrication disciplines and obtain manufacturing certifications as needed
