Orbital Tube Welder / Installer

Responsibilities:

• Perform precision tube installation and orbital tube welding in accordance with engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements.

• Set up and operate machines for welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, and tube bending.

• Execute composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.

• Assemble mechanical, electro-mechanical, and avionics components and wire harnesses.

• Conduct soldering on electronic products and prepare/test fixtures for system evaluations.

• Perform surface treatment including organic chemical conversion, paint prep, and coating applications.

• Work on complex systems across various fabrication disciplines.

• Support cross-functional shop needs including secondary duties, cleanup, and administrative functions.

• Obtain and maintain required manufacturing certifications and associated physical examinations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and typically 4+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Orbital Tube Weld Certification is required.

• Experience in tube installation is required.

• Boeing experience is preferred.

• Willingness to perform tasks across multiple fabrication disciplines and obtain manufacturing certifications as needed
