- Responsible for program P&L inclusive of work scope, personnel, materials, and subcontractors
- Oversee the program team to include Program Analyst (Deputy PM), QC Manager, Subcontracts Manager, Master Planner, Financial Controller/Buyer, Program Engineer, Administrator
- Provide internal management and control on all matters related to the program, from conception to final completion
- Establish and maintain sufficient resources to support financial control, risk management, aircraft, and training device modification/production throughout the period of performance of the program
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the T-6A Program Office (PO), T-6A Ground Based Training Systems (GBTS) PO, and the OEM of the components being installed
- Prepare a Program Management Plan (PMP) that coordinates all activities related to the program to ensure successful completion
- Manage key Subcontractors to include Airworthiness Certification, Engineering, Digital Engineering, A-Kit Manufacturing, Simulator Modification, Training, Tech Pub Updates.
- Review work orders and logbook entries to ensure compliance
- Additional duties as requested
Requirements
- University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience in program management or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of program management experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of program management experience
- Must have prior experience supporting the contract management of a program
- Must have prior experience and knowledge of avionics modifications
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and writing skills
- History of prior leadership position; previous management position required
- Ability to interface professionally with internal and external customers
- Knowledge on new avionics equipment and installation
- Strong background in planning and executing complex avionics upgrades
- Knowledge of FAA Part 145 repair station standards and operations
- Knowledge of the FAA STC and Military Airworthiness processes
- Glass cockpit modernization knowledge required
- Strong avionics experience on Textron aircraft required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Work daily onsite in Greenville, SC
- Travel to multiple sites in the US on a monthly basis (Travel 20-50%)
- Prior experience managing aircraft modifications concurrently at multiple locations
- Aircraft simulator manufacturing or modification experience
- Knowledge of aircraft life cycle management
- Garmin G1000/3000/5000 installation experience
- Avionics experience on FAA Part 23 turbine aircraft
- Working knowledge of Corridor tracking system
- Microsoft Project experience
- A&P License preferred, but not required
