Job Title: RS Avionics / Electrical Technician II
Location: Dallas, TX (GAC Dallas – Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months 
Pay Rate: $30-$32/hr (W2)

Basic Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4+ years of aviation maintenance experience
• 3+ years on mid/large aircraft
• FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license required
• Valid driver’s license
• Corporate/business aircraft experience preferred

 
Key Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and modifications
• Remove/install:
  • Airframes
  • Landing gear
  • Engines and components
  • Electrical systems
  • Flight/control systems
• Ensure all work meets procedures, specs, and safety standards
• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing

 
Leadership & Team Support

• Guide and support junior technicians
• Step in for Mechanical Team Lead when needed
• Help train new employees

 
Inspection & Compliance

• Coordinate with inspection team
• Ensure FAA and company compliance
• Complete work orders, logs, and documentation accurately

Equipment & Operations

• Operate ground support equipment (hydraulic rigs, power units, etc.)
• Assist with aircraft movement
• Handle and store parts/equipment safely

Technical Skills

• Read and interpret:
  • Maintenance manuals
  • IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalog)
  • SRM (Structural Repair Manual)
  • Engineering drawings
• Use maintenance tracking systems (CMP)
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills

Additional Duties

• Support testing and possible flight tests
• Follow Lean / 6S practices for clean work environment
• Track materials and parts usage
• Maintain tools and equipment properly

Knowledge Requirements

• FAA regulations and quality standards
• Technical documentation and manuals
• Strong English communication skills
