Role Summary
* In this role, you will perform bench-level and on-aircraft avionics troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and testing for corporate and business jets. You will ensure all work meets FAA Part 145 regulations, OEM procedures, and organizational standards while supporting high-quality aircraft maintenance operations. Education & Job Requirements
* Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an avionics technician on corporate/business jets.
* Must have hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with Garmin, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, or similar avionics systems.
* Must have experience with corporate aircraft such as Learjet, Challenger, or Global series.
* Must have ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Must have knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations and OEM maintenance procedures.
* Must have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team. Preferred Skills
* You will have bench-level avionics repair experience (circuit boards, modules, components).
* You will have familiarity with navigation and communication systems (VHF/UHF/HF radios, GPS, ILS, DME, ADS-B).
* You will have experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators.
* You will have previous experience in a corporate jet MRO or OEM facility. Job Duties / Functions
* You will be troubleshooting and repairing avionics components removed from aircraft.
* You will be performing calibrations, testing, and adjustments of avionics systems.
* You will be reading and interpreting schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
* You will be recording maintenance actions per FAA and organizational requirements.
* You will be collaborating with engineers and other technicians to resolve system issues.
* You will be assisting with on-aircraft system troubleshooting as needed.
