FCAS has the potential to become a future key pillar to secure the sovereignty of Europe, strategically, technologically, and industrially! With Spain joining the Franco-German cooperation, the programme took an important step towards its Europeanization. As FCAS is much more than “just” a new Fighter, but an integrated & combined system-of-system including existing and future platforms and tools, the programme will integrate a wide range of the Airbus DS portfolio and competencies.

The team TADXE-TL2 (TOR & FCAS EW) is searching for a System Architect for EW Systems (d/f/m) to join the team in Manching.

Your tasks and responsibilitiesAs System Architect for the Electronic Warfare Functions within FCAS you will:
be responsible for the technical activities within our demonstration and development projects
be responsible for the L0/L1/L2 architectures and requirement specifications for the electronic warfare systems
contribute to cross-functional teams as focal point for the electronic warfare department
document technical activities
support configuration management
support decision making on technical activities
support continuous improvement activities
Desired skills and qualificationsExperience with RF/EO Sensors and Effectors in the fields of research, design, development and integration
Diplom / Master Degree (or equivalent) in a technical or industrial field
Good knowledge in development processes and methods
Practical experience in applying MBSE methods and tools
Experience with work in multifunctional teams
Experience in international / multicultural teams
Improvement mind-set
Team player skills
English Language skills (negotiation level), second language (French / German) would be a plus
