Are you an experienced avionics professional looking to advance your career in the aviation industry? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Technician, Avionics and Electronics in Dallas, TX. In this role, your expertise will ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of aircraft by troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing advanced avionics and electrical systems. Your work directly contributes to keeping aircraft operating at the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:As part of our aviation maintenance team, you’ll take on a variety of technical responsibilities, including:
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
Perform and document work in accordance with manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations.
Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
Operate ground support equipment as required.
Support off-site maintenance as needed and collaborate with other maintenance disciplines.
Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies while maintaining 5-S standards.
Perform all tasks safely, efficiently, and with a commitment to quality.
What You’ll Bring:Required:
Graduate of an Avionics/Electrical A/C Technical School or substantiated equivalent.
2–6 years of avionics work experience (or equivalent).
Ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic PC skills.
Ownership of a basic hand tool set with the ability to maintain control and inventory.
Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, holidays, and in seasonal/inclement weather.
Ability to obtain a SIDA badge if required.
Preferred/Certifications:
A Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate.
GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate.
Experience with corporate jet or commercial aircraft.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $43.00 per hour
