Qualifications
Specialized Experience Required for TMC Positions:
Must have been facility rated or area certified in a CPC/TMC/S at an ATO terminal/en route facility.
Rating and Evaluation Factors: In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, candidates will be rated in accordance with the instructions on FAA Form 3330-43-1 (dated 04/15), Rating of Air Traffic Experience for AT Movement. This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening. Persons occupying a "testing designated position (TDP)" will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing.
Interviews: If the agency decides to interview any qualified employee on the selection list, then all on the list who are qualified must be interviewed.
Requirement for Physical Certificate: The person selected for this position must maintain medical clearance.
Requirement for Security Clearance: Selection and placement are contingent upon waiver or completion of satisfactory security requirements.
Early Retirement: Position is covered under PL 92-297 for early retirement purposes.
