(8273) Structural/Design Engineer II

Job Description:

We are seeking a Contract Structural Design Engineer to support the rapid development and deployment of temporary and modular structures in a fast paced environment. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements and quickly translate them into practical, fabrication ready design packages. You’ll ensure designs meet applicable codes, safety standards, and site conditions, while coordinating with external vendors to resolve questions during fabrication and construction.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with evolving requirements and tight timelines, maintaining accurate, revision controlled drawings while managing ongoing design updates. You will support field activities, participate in design reviews, and provide timely technical solutions to keep projects moving forward. Strong CAD skills, experience producing build ready documentation, and the ability to balance speed with quality and compliance are key to success in this role. Experience with temporary or modular structures and knowledge of anchorage, foundation design, and environmental loading considerations is a plus.
Compensation: $52/hr.
