Export License Control
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Key job responsibilities
The role turns product requirements for the Prime Air Drone Delivery Center (PADDC) into detailed analysis, design, and artifact development. The primary focus is using technology to solve problems, seeking to improve services and features, identifying patterns in hardware, software, and system architecture to meet business and customer needs within PADDC. This work affects the security, maintainability, performance, reliability, and availability of our systems. Additionally, the role creates and drives automation that simplifies workloads that scale operations, and provides insight to engineers that operate in different domains into how their components interact with others to form a system of systems.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years experience in Systems Engineering
- Experience in design and analysis of safety critical systems
- Experience in communicating with technical teams to collect requirements, describe product features and technical designs- Technical writing of design requirements
- Experience in: Model Based Design and Systems Architecture
- Aviation Human Machine Interface & Human Factors experience
- Professional experience with Drone Systems
- Proficient in configuration management and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
