LM Aeronautics Global Readiness Solutions has a requirement for an ALIS Site Activation Engineer - Level 4 to provide technical support to the Lockheed Martin F-35 Logistics Information System (LIS) Site Activation team. This customer facing position designs and provides solutions for shipboard and shore-based infrastructure for the F-35 ALIS/ODIN Ship/Site Activation process associated customer site stand up. The selected candidate will be expected to apply an advanced working knowledge of US Government, international partner, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) IT infrastructure designs, policies, and procedures to succeed.

This position requires 50 or more global travel.

The candidate of choice will engage with the design and sustainment of multiple F-35 site activations with emphasis on network interoperability, systems applications, analysis, and information security. This position will provide specific interoperability requirements for diverse F-35 customer sites, supporting all aspects of the Logistics Information System Site Activation team based in Orlando, FL and Fort Worth, TX.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Contributing to the LIS Site Activation team supporting non-annualized and annualized contract scope
- Providing technical guidance supporting systems schematics, network diagrams, and other program documentation to assist with development and preparation of cost estimates
- Interacting daily with LM site activation teams and Joint Program Office representatives supporting and coordinating hardware installations with customer personnel, LM lines of business, and other industry partners
- Generating and reviewing team members system documentation including - Network Diagrams, Rack Elevations, Plate/Panel Details, Electrical load specification, and HVAC heat load
- Supporting troubleshooting efforts of both LM and industry partner designated program equipment
- Providing technical assistance to clients relating to operation, use, and maintenance of LM/GFE workstations and network equipment
- Working with customers and internal personnel to manage related IT Ship/Site Activation projects and provide customer service and technical support
- Monitoring of LM Commercial Circuits, domestic and international, supporting all US Government, international partner, and FMS Logistic Information Systems to include ongoing sustainment and interfacing with LM business units during troubleshooting efforts
- Supporting COMSEC Management efforts to support the F-35 LIS program
- Supporting team coordination and scheduling, LIS Site Activation team efforts including technical specifications, interface control, interoperability concepts, deployment and production support, inventory and administrative information tracking, maintenance tracking, and vendor management

The successful candidate must hold an active DoD Secret clearance with a background investigation closure date within the last 6 years and be able to attain and maintain program access.

Basic Qualifications:

- Advanced IT System Administration and/or Networking/Network Installation knowledge
- Experience with public speaking, leading training, and/or leading presentations for a varied audience on IT topics (i.e. IT professionals, senior leaders, military customers)

- Previous Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) experience. In particular, networking and infrastructure. Or, prior experience as a user or administrator
- Professional Documentation Skills
- CompTIA Network+ Certification
- CompTIA Security+ Certification
- Cisco CCNA Certification
- Experience in Layer 1-4 Networking
- Experience with US Navy Shipboard Systems, Networks and legacy systems
- Prior experience in F-35 or 5th Generation Fighter aircraft operating environment
- Ability to analyze and prepare designs for Shipboard and ship/shore in relation to deployment of systems associated with a commercial controlled interface with Domestic and foreign Government networks
- Ability to build and work with software modeling tools
- PC and networking skills, including Skype, conferencing servers
- Working knowledge of reading blueprints and wiring server racks
- Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines driven by quality customer service
- Communicate effectively both in a written and verbal manner with management, peers, customers, and subordinates.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
