As an ASIC Engineer working on-site in Baltimore, MD, you will play a vital role in validating high-speed ASICs that power next-generation aviation systems. This is a full-time, 6-month consulting role offering premium hourly compensation, a dynamic first-shift schedule, and the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects with national impact.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:Validate ASIC performance in a hands-on lab environment using a Stratix 10 FPGA.
Utilize Matlab scripting and VHDL to command and control test fixtures.
Operate and interpret results from oscilloscopes, signal generators, and network analyzers.
Troubleshoot discrepancies between test results and technical documentation.
Deliver clear technical reports and status updates to the Integration & Test (I&T) Lead.
Modify or update FPGA firmware as required.
What You Bring to the Team:Required Qualifications:B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering + 8+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in MATLAB scripting for ASIC/device testing
Experience with VHDL and FPGA development
Familiarity with SerDes or other high-speed interfaces
Strong hands-on experience with standard test lab equipment

Pay Details: $93.00 to $121.46 per hour
