ATR - Landing Gear Engineer M/F

Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ATR design office. The Systems & Propulsion CoC is looking for a Landing Gear engineer.

You will be in charge of developments on the landing gears, from feasibility to certification and entry into service, and will ensure the support to the production line and to the customers.

The activities will include suppliers follow-up, discussions with airworthiness authorities, interactions with several directorates within the company (FAL, flight tests, program, procurement, safety, quality…).

You will be the focal point of the CoC for Landing Gear methods and tools development and management.

We are looking for an engineer with the following skills and experience:

• A global view of the landing gear on the technical level, with a good knowledge of structural design and stress computations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact effectively with local teams, and with partners, customers and suppliers.
• Enthusiastic, energetic and pro-active approach to team working and a willingness to exercise technical leadership as required.
• Educated to a degree level in Engineering or a related discipline.
