Within the Türkiye Technology Center (TTC), the Additive Technologies team develops design, analysis, and production techniques using powder bed fusion additive manufacturing methods. We are looking to hire a long-term manufacturing engineering intern for up to 11 months, with an initial 6-month period and an optional 5-month extension, to be employed in our laboratory. - General operation and organization of the Additive Manufacturing Technologies laboratory
- Maintenance and preparation for production of additive manufacturing machines
- Organizing and tracking work procedures
- Supporting post-processing operations such as machining and measurement after additive manufacturing
The Ideal Candidate
Who are eager to develop themselves in additive manufacturing technologies, have strong engineering knowledge, and wish to shape their career as a production engineer.
Required Qualifications
- Studying in mechanical, mechatronics, metallurgy, manufacturing, and similar engineering departments at universities
- Must remain enrolled as a student throughout the internship period; preference given to third-year undergraduate students or masters degree students
- Proficient in English
- High sense of responsibility
- Strong analytical thinking skills
- Basic knowledge in process improvement and root cause analysis
- Part time working during the academic term (minimum 3 days a week) and full-time work during the summer term
- Willing to learn, with good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing technologies
- Knowledge of the working principles of additive manufacturing machines
- Proficiency in CAD programs
- Experience in the production field
