Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $53.93-$58.93/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and integration of military-grade electronics and underwater acoustic systems.
Analyze and design analog and digital electronic circuits, including signal conditioning, power, A/D conversion, transformers, inductors, amplifiers, and communication interfaces.
Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify electronic hardware and prototype assemblies.
Design test systems and supporting software applications; define test criteria.
Perform architecture and component trade studies to determine optimal system solutions.
Design and analyze underwater acoustic systems and prototype cable assemblies.
Conduct solder rework of prototype circuit card assemblies.
Generate and maintain technical documentation including interface specifications and design data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field; Master’s degree preferred.
U.S. Citizenship is required due to contractual obligations.
5+ years of relevant experience, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design with signal integrity principles.
Experience with op-amps, transistors, inductors, and transformers—understanding key parameters like flux density, leakage inductance, and thermal rise.
Familiarity with communication protocols and interfaces including Ethernet, RS-485, USB, CAN bus, LVDS, TCP/UDP.
Hands-on knowledge of PCB design and tools (e.g., OrCAD Capture), SPICE and power analysis, and working with layout teams.
Understanding of underwater acoustic systems and related principles.
Experience with battery systems, electric motors, or MATLAB is a plus.
