Responsibilities:
- Join our cross-disciplinary team responsible for developing tactical radio hardware.
- These programs help to ensure robust and secure communications for the warfighter.
- This role includes schematic design and layout of hardware with ARM processors and microcontrollers, DDR RAM (DDR3, DDR4, LPDDR4) memory interfaces, and digital interfaces (e.g., I2C, SPI, SDIO).
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Masters degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- Preferred skills or experiences:
- Schematic capture and layout design of digital subsystems and components for Software Defined Radios (SDRs)
- Use of lab test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment, experience designing PCBs/PWBs using Siemens Xpedition or similar tools.
- An understanding of the hardware development process throughout the lifecycle of a program, including design for manufacturing and design for test.
- Knowledge of Siemens Xpedition or similar tools for schematic entry, constraint definition, and signal integrity/power integrity analysis.
- Experience designing PCBs/PWBs, including using advanced materials, packaging techniques, and high-speed interfaces.
