Electro - Mechanical Engineering Technician

Contract Position

Pay Estimated: $27.96-$32.96/Hour

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

• Support engineering efforts in the design, test, fabrication, modification, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.

• Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to aid in system construction and validation.

• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and test a variety of tools, devices, and systems.

• Perform statistically based experiments to define and optimize process parameters.

• Develop and document tooling, fixtures, and complex solutions to improve manufacturing and test processes.

• Analyze and interpret data to identify root causes and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

• U.S. Citizenship required by federal law.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and capable of fabricating complex hardware.

• Strong foundational knowledge of engineering theory and application.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints.
