Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $47.81-$52.81/Hour

Active Secret Clearance Required to Start
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for system validation and verification.
Analyze requirements to design test methods that validate functional and technical specifications.
Perform formal and informal testing to verify corrective actions and software/hardware interfaces.
Identify and document defects in software, firmware, and hardware; coordinate with engineering teams for resolution.
Support configuration and assembly of computer equipment and lab environments based on drawings and port maps.
Conduct system checkout and install/test IA software at various test sites, including shipboard environments.
Attend and contribute to technical and program meetings weekly.
Employ technical expertise to collaborate with multi-organizational teams, including DoD labs and external entities.
Maintain detailed test case documentation and provide regular progress updates to management.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5+ years of experience, or Master’s degree plus 3+ years.
Active DoD Secret clearance at time of hire.
5–10 years of experience with AN/BYG-1 combat systems.
Prior Navy experience as a Submarine Fire Control Technician (FT) or related roles (ST, ET, IT); Surface Navy experience accepted.
Subject matter expertise in one domain with working knowledge in adjacent areas.
Proficiency in:
Software testing and analysis
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Linux command-line interface
Networking protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, ICMP, encryption)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Strike Software (TTWCS, TCIP, MDS)
Ability to assemble and test computer equipment
