Ability to Obtain a Secret Clearance

Responsibilities:
- Perform thermal and structural analysis using tools such as ANSYS and MATLAB
- Develop and evaluate 3D mechanical models and detailed drawings using CAD tools
- Partner with design engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure performance, producibility, and compliance
- Analyze and validate designs against technical, government, and industry standards
- Support design reviews, failure analysis, and performance optimization
- Contribute to technical documentation, including reports, white papers, and proposals
- Lead or support complex engineering projects from concept through production
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- ANSYS (required)
- MATLAB (required)
- Thermal analysis & structural analysis
- 3D CAD modeling & mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication methods
- Familiarity with government and industry standards
- Experience leading complex engineering projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced experience in thermal simulation and modeling
- Strong 3D modeling capability (any major CAD platform)
