Contract Position
Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the software development lifecycle for cryptographic systems and secure communication platforms
Design and implement Linux kernel drivers for embedded systems
Integrate solutions on Xilinx SoCs, including Zynq Ultrascale+ and Versal using PetaLinux
Apply kernel-level debugging techniques to support low-level driver and system performance
Support development with Linux networking and routing configurations
Propose and implement high-quality, high-performing solutions with minimal input
Collaborate with systems, hardware, and firmware teams in an Agile development environment
Champion technology innovations and process improvements
Contribute to professional development of team members through mentoring and technical leadership
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field– Master’s degree accepted with reduced experience requirement
5+ years of experience in embedded software development, or 3+ years with a Master’s degree
Linux kernel driver development experience for embedded platforms (required)
Experience with PetaLinux and Xilinx SoCs (e.g., Zynq Ultrascale+, Versal)
Proficient in kernel-level debugging techniques
Familiarity with Linux networking/routing
Experience with Docker or Podman on Linux (preferred)
Experience with Wind River Linux (preferred)
Agile development experience preferred
Department of Defense Secret clearance preferred at time of hire
On-site work or travel may be required based on program needs
