We have an opportunity for an Advanced Electronic Design Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno, where you’ll join our team developing safety critical control units for Electro-Mechanical Flight Control Actuation systems for electric aircrafts. This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development cycle of the Electronic Control Units activities
• Support project planning – hardware development plans, creation of PBA level HW requirements
• Analog/Digital/Power Electronic circuits design for flight critical applications (DAL A) – schematics creation, PCB layout oversight
• Formal and Informal Verification – design studies, simulations and testing in the laboratories
• Creation of documentation – test procedure & result documents, design descriptions, etc.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
• Preferably 5&43; years of experience as an Electronics Design Engineer / in electronic circuit development (analog/digital/power electronic)
• English proficiency
• Experience working in Mentor Graphics or similar would be considered an advantage
• Experience with designs in aerospace industry would be considered an advantage
