As the Instrumentation Engineer III you will utilize your expertise in the field of Instrumentation engineering to assist Honeywell in delivering cutting-edge innovative solutions tailored to our customers evolving needs. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: 
•Act as the primary liaison with external suppliers and customers.
•Evaluate bids and actively participate in the supplier selection process.
•Review supplier designs against licensor, code, and customer requirements.
•Coordinate with suppliers during the fabrication phase, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
•Conduct on-site visits for kickoff meetings and critical inspection points.
•Foster collaboration with diverse engineering teams, meeting project requirements for Instrumentation equipment.
•Apply analytical methodologies to project tasks and conduct comprehensive specification reviews.
•Facilitate the exchange of task-level information and communicate incidents of non-compliance effectively.
•Prepare and update detailed reports and documentation.
•Utilize computer-assisted equipment proficiently, executing project tasks meticulously.
•Identify and propose areas for technical improvement.

YOU MUST HAVE:
•Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics 
•3+ years of experience with Instrumentation Engineering and working with P&IDs, datasheets, and engineering specifications

WE VALUE:
•4+ years of experience developing and reviewing detailed Engineering Specifications and Drawings such as Instrument Index, Instrument Location Plans, Cable Schedules, Installation Details - Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Support, Cable Tray/Conduit Routing Plan
•4+ years of experience in preparing and/or reviewing instrument wiring diagrams and schematic diagrams.
•4+ years of experience working with P&IDs, preparing datasheets, and generating purchase requisitions for various types of Instrumentation equipment.
•Experience designing and preparing specifications, technical requisitions for purchasing instrumentation equipment.
•Incorporate applicable electrical classification codes requirements and customer requirements to produce a complete technical definition of the equipment.
•Assumes the secondary/primary liaison role with various outside suppliers and customers 
•Technically evaluate bids and participate in the supplier selection process 
•Review supplier designs against licensor requirements, code requirements, and customer requirements. 
•Coordinate with suppliers throughout the fabrication phase of the project. 
•Visit shops for kickoff meetings and critical inspections points
•Work closely with all members of the project team including quality assurance, piping, instrument, process, and structural designers, purchasing personnel, and project managers to meet project requirements for Instrument   equipment.
•Knowledge of applicable NEC, European, Other Countries codes requirements for Electrical and instrumentation equipment.
•Knowledge of ISA standards and its equivalent in other countries/regions
•Knowledge of the testing, certification and marking required for instrumentation equipment in electrically classified area
