Use your knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the worlds most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywells next generation of aerospace products supporting new products from concept through the start of production, with an emphasis on process development, producibility, quality, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support new and current product engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible
  • Determine manufacturing processes, procure and set up equipment, write work instructions
  • Incorporating new manufacturing processes into the design, such as automation and alternate manufacturing techniques
  • Support production teams
  • Root Cause Corrective Analysis. 

 

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years in manufacturing engineering

WE VALUE 

  • Experience in the Aerospace industry and/or Optics manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge of the fields standards and specifications
  • Experience in the use of Lean tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
  • Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks
  • Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP and extended Security Clearance.
