Join our team of innovators as we design, develop and deploy cutting-edge software solutions for Honeywell Anthem Nextu202F-Generation Avionics u202FDisplay Systems. You will be a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will impact the aviation industry by developing innovative software solutions that improve the functionality, reliability, and user experience of avionics systems. 

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules. 
  • Leverage your expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions
  • Design, develop, and test software applications, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development of embedded systems, avionics or related products
WE VALUE
  • Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python and/or Open GL.
  • Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System
  • Experience in software development for embedded systems, display technologies, automotive or aerospace applications
  • Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
  • Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
