Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience
4+ years in aerospace electrical/electronics design and integration (aircraft, satellites, or spacecraft)
Proficiency with wiring/harness design and routing, wire sizing/derating, and connector/backshell selection per AS50881 or equivalent
Experience with aircraft power systems (28 VDC, 270 VDC, 115 VAC 400 Hz) and solid-state power controllers (SSPCs)/PDUs
Avionics integration and bus architectures (ARINC 429/664, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, Ethernet)
EMC/EMI and environmental compliance (RTCA DO-160 / MIL-STD-461/810)
Schematic capture and harness tools (Mentor Capital/Siemens Capital, Zuken E3.series, CATIA/3DEXPERIENCE, AutoCAD Electrical)
Test equipment proficiency (oscilloscope, DMM, hipot, continuity, TDR, Cirris/DIT-MCO)
Familiarity with safety/airworthiness and systems processes (ARP4754A, ARP4761, EWIS 14 CFR 25 Subpart H; for space: ECSS/NASA standards)
Configuration management, requirements, and traceability in ALM/PLM (Jama/DOORS, 3DX/Teamcenter, Jira)
Preferred SkillsPCB/power electronics experience (DC-DC, converters/inverters, motor controllers, battery management, HV protection)
High-voltage eVTOL/UAM architectures and HVIL/insulation coordination

Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain electrical system architectures for aircraft and spacecraft, including power generation, distribution, and protection schemes
Develop detailed wiring diagrams, wire lists, and harness assemblies; perform 3D routing, clamp/strain-relief, shielding, and separation per EWIS rules
Size feeders and branches, select protection (breakers/fuses/SSPC), and analyze load/thermal/voltage drop and fault scenarios
Integrate navigation, communications, sensors, and flight/space avionics with data buses, timing, and redundancy strategies
Plan and execute verification: bench/HIL tests, continuity/hipot/TDR, EMI/EMC, environmental per DO-160/MIL-STD-461/810; document results and nonconformances
Generate requirements, ICDs, test procedures, schematics, harness drawings, BOMs, and certification/flight-readiness artifacts
Lead troubleshooting and RCCA for electrical issues during proto, ground test, and flight/space ops; drive corrective actions
Coordinate with mechanical, software, RF, and manufacturing for packaging, thermal, bonding/grounding, and producibility; support MRB and change control
Support conformity, compliance, and certification efforts (FAA/EASA or mission/agency reviews) and maintain configuration/traceability throughout the lifecycle
Pay Details: $56.00 to $75.00 per hour
