Aerothermal Engineer

Job Description:

Summary: Seeking an Aerothermal Engineer to design, develop, and validate fluid dynamic systems for aerospace applications.

Requirements:

BS or MS in Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, Aeroacoustic, Heat Transfer, or related discipline
7+ years in Aerospace, Hypersonic Systems, or Test Facility Design
Strong experience in aerodynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer

Preferred Skills:

Understanding of wind tunnel low to supersonic airflows
Experience with heat exchanger and combustion systems
Proficiency in CFD and optical measurement methods (Shadow-graph, Schlieren, PSP, PIV, LDV)

Responsibilities:

Design fluid dynamic systems and components
Develop and validate devices for aerospace applications

Pay Details: $70.00 to $80.00 per hour
