PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Engine Technician to support a leading organization in the aerospace industry in Dallas, TX. Role SummaryAs an Engine Technician, you will perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, installations, and functional testing on turbine engines and APU systems. Your work ensures the ongoing safety, compliance, and performance of aircraft supported at this facility. This is a hands on, detail driven position that plays a key role in returning aircraft to service with the highest level of confidence.
What You’ll DoFollow all applicable work instructions, environmental, health, and safety policies.
Perform and document all assigned work in accordance with maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements.
Inspect aircraft engines, APU systems, and related components for damage, defects, corrosion, and general wear.
Review and interpret discrepancy reports, maintenance logs, and technical history to accurately troubleshoot and plan repairs.
Recommend repair, replacement, or modification based on inspection findings.
Install, remove, or modify turbine engines/APUs and associated systems per drawings, schematics, engineering orders, and technical publications.
Conduct repairs on worn or damaged components using hand tools and testing equipment.
Research and interpret technical manuals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Perform operational checks and functional tests of engines, APUs, and related systems.
Install, remove, or modify aircraft structures, systems, and components per schematics and engineering directives.
Certify completed work meets maintenance and airworthiness standards.
Assist other technicians with general maintenance tasks and operation of ground support equipment.
Support engine run operations and off aircraft component repairs.
Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsFAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
Minimum 8 years of turbine engine line or shop maintenance experience (or substantiated equivalent).
Minimum 2 years of experience working on corporate jet aircraft.
Minimum 1 year of experience on aircraft.
Proficiency in engine removals & installations, borescope inspections, and producing accurate written reports.
Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance documents, and engineering data.
Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting day to day operations within a corporate aircraft service center environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with ground support equipment and general aircraft systems support.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $45.00 per hour
