Position OverviewOur Client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Apprentice to join our maintenance team. This role is open to apprentices pursuing either the Structures discipline or the M1 (Mechanical) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of licensed AMEs and experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience in a regulated aviation maintenance environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral (Both Disciplines):
Assist licensed AMEs with scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
Perform tasks in accordance with approved maintenance manuals, work cards, and regulatory requirements
Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
Accurately complete task sign-offs and maintenance documentation under supervision
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Structures Apprentice Responsibilities:
Assist with inspection, repair, and replacement of aircraft structures and components
Support sheet metal work including drilling, riveting, bonding, and fastening
Assist with composite repairs and structural modifications
Open and close aircraft panels and access areas
Read and interpret technical drawings and structural repair manuals
M1 (Mechanical) Apprentice Responsibilities:
Assist with inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft mechanical systems
Support maintenance on powerplant, landing gear, flight controls, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems
Assist with removal and installation of mechanical components
Perform servicing tasks (oils, fluids, filters) under supervision
Use technical manuals to support maintenance tasks
Qualifications & RequirementsEnrolled in or graduated from a Transport Canada–approved Aircraft Maintenance program OR actively registered as an apprentice
Strong interest in pursuing a career as a licensed AME (Structures or M1)
Basic understanding of aircraft maintenance practices and safety standards
Ability to read and understand technical documentation
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Eligible to work in Canada
Assets (Nice to Have)Previous hands-on experience in an AMO or MRO environment
Familiarity with turboprop or business aircraft
Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment
WHMIS, Human Factors, or Safety training
