* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural analysis.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis using MSC.NASTRAN and Altair Hypermesh.
* Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design and analysis activities, prioritize tasks, and report status.
* Must have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
* Must have the ability to work effectively within a team.
* Must have the ability to prioritize a variety of assignments.

* Experience in helicopter or tiltrotor structural design, including composites.
* Aerospace industry experience. Job Duties & Functions
* Support airframe structural designs based on trade studies, research, and analysis.
* Perform detailed analysis of advanced composite and metallic structures using classical hand calculations and FE tools.
* Perform static analysis using industry standard calculation methods, e.g., Bruhn, Roark Flabel, and OEM structures manuals.
* Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and specialty personnel to resolve problems.
* Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure design outcomes related to stress, strength, life, stiffness, and weight.
* Oversee and monitor product acceptance procedures and parameters to achieve reliability and safety standards, e.g., failure analysis.
* Contribute to project milestones, including creating functional diagrams and system layouts, reviewing drawings and schematics, and defining data structures and interfaces.
* Execute tasks to cost and schedule requirements.
* Support the supplier and teammate design activity.
* Support test activity, including test plan development, execution, and reporting.
