Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Prepares and develops certification deliverables; certification plans, request for conformity (RFC), means of compliance, reports and other documentation as required.
  2. This position requires experience in program management, effective communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate Company certification programs for alterations and modifications.
  3. Candidate should have experience creating certification documents such as ICAs, Ground/Flight Test Plans, Compliance Checklists, Project Specific Certification Plans, etc
  4. Assists in reviewing certification deliverables to compare compliance checklist, compliance showing, and 8100-9 finding.
  5. Demonstrates creativity, and the ability to work with the team to solve complex engineering problems, determining program objectives and requirements, and in developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
  6. Works with their assigned team to ensure that all certification deliverables and schedule are achieved.
  7. Adhere to Gulfstream safety rules and procedures.
  8. Apply Gulfstream regulations and policies to daily business activities.
  9. Weekend and overtime work as required


Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job or 0 to 18 months specific certification experience or related Engineering experience.

Position Purpose:

Works under general supervision to perform a variety of engineering and supportive tasks associated with the Compliance Assurance Organization, Organization Designation Authority, FAA, EASA and other foreign civil aviation authorities. Responsibilities include assisting with generating, processing, and supporting the review of engineering documentation required. for certification programs from project start to closure.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

  1. Assists in developing simple certification plans describing the project scope, certification deliverables, means of compliance, and test/conformity requirements.
  2. Assists in reviewing certification deliverables to compare compliance checklist, compliance showing, and 8100-9 finding.
  3. Assists in preparing TIA pre-requisites, draft TIA, and open projects/open PR memo .
  4. Assists in preparing Summary Compliance Reports .
  5. Assists in creation and maintenance of Project File for programs as assigned.
  6. Assists in creation and submittal of correspondence with regulatory authorities as assigned.
  7. Assists with FCAA validations including applications, SSD and SEI lists, meeting agendas, presentation generation, meeting minutes, action tracking and follow up.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

  1. Basic understanding of aircraft design and systems functions.
  2. Awareness of FAA certification process and airworthiness standards.
  3. Awareness of foreign validation principles.
