Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more

Job overview and responsibilities

The Engineer Analyst will daily support the Tech Ops ODA department with engineering and regulatory tasks. This includes duties for Engineering Data Input (EDI), the ODA STC, the PMA ODA and the FDA.
  • Support Engineering Data Input (EDI):

    Accountable for entries into SCEPTRE system. Reviewing, creating and attaching records tracking numbers, parts, effectivity and work cards. Assisting Purchasing and Records groups with correcting SCEPTRE discrepancies with parts and serial numbers. Creation of policies, procedures and processes.
  • STC ODA:

    Accountable for routing certification plans for review, reviewing RFCs and routing for signature RFCs for review, signature, and maintaining all STC documents and records are kept on ShareFile per our procedures manual
  • PMA ODA:

    Responsible for reviewing existing alternate part approvals to identify supply chain cost savings opportunities. Assist with alternate part database management (e.g., log setup, adding data packages, deleting old/$0 cost savings reviews)
  • FDA:

    Responsible for assembling and formatting the FDA self-certification packages for review. Responsible for updating the fleet self-certification master excel file once packages are approved and certificates issued. Weekly review planning schedule and identify efficiency opportunities for inspecting multiple aircraft at the same location.

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in SCEPTRE
  • Superior attention to accuracy and detail
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent Communication
  • Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
