Are you passionate about aviation and technical documentation? Join our dynamic team as a Tech Pubs Engineer, where you’ll collaborate with skilled Authors and Illustrators to create and revise world-class technical documents aligned with industry standards such as ATA 100, iSpec 2200, and S1000D.
You will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, accurate, and user-friendly publications that support our advanced aerospace systems and components.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, revise, and maintain Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Component Maintenance Publications (CMP), and Aircraft Illustrated Parts Catalogs (AIPC).
Interpret engineering data and technical inputs (e.g., Service Bulletins, ECNs, SILs, ATPs, TRs) to author accurate maintenance and repair content.
Author content using tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext Epic Editor, and manage data in Common Source Database (CSDB).
Resolve XML/SGML parsing errors and ensure structured content quality.
Comply with technical standards including ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and ASD-STE (Simplified Technical English).
Collaborate across engineering, product support, and quality teams to ensure documentation accuracy.
Utilize illustration tools such as IsoDraw 7.3, 3DVIA Composer, and CATIA (added advantage).
Work with PLM tools like Teamcenter and Ennovia to manage engineering source data.
Support quality audits and ensure documentation aligns with program requirements and customer expectations.
Willingness to travel internationally, as required.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
1–3 years of relevant experience in technical authoring, specifically in CMMs, AMMs, or Data Modules.
Strong understanding of aerospace documentation standards and industry tools.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented mindset and ability to deliver quality content under tight deadlines.
