This role requires a blend of strong leadership and technical skills to manage both production staff and maintenance technicians, ensuring production goals are met without compromising quality or safety.
Job Tittle: Associate Engineer - Production & Maintenance
Job responsibilities: 1. Load sheet/deployment plan to be prepared by the previous day.2. Load sheet/deployment sheets and constraints are reviewed/updated before Tier meetings.3. Tier 1 Boards are updated before the Tier meetings.4. GEMBA Walk for shift readiness including availability of kits.5. Lead Tier 1 Meetings and assign workload/priorities for each technician.6. GEMBA Walk after start of shift to ensure ontime start of every process.7. Synthesize actions from Tier 1 Board and update Tier 2 Boards.8. Production control - GEMBA Walk (Pitch) to ensure that MOs are progressing as per plan and check for issues/support.9. RTPR - Respond to Andons/escalations as per TAT to ensure problem solving ontime10. Shift Report covering performance of output (Qty), Efficiency, Quality, Safety with Top 3 issues/turn backs.11. Participate in CPS meeting to support internal trials and make adjustments to support implementation of short-term actions.12. Reflection with team and handover shift to next shift supervisor
13. Maintain the Autonomous check list for all machines to identify potential issues and proactively address them
Weekly activities:
14. Prepare Weekly Planning/Deployment sheet inline with MPS Weekly planning sheet from Planner15. The Production workload is followed (tracked) daily & prepare Shift schedules for sub-assembly/finished goods inline with skill progression review.16. Execute Job rotation plan with Trainers inline with MPS to improve skill levels.17.Productivity for the cell is analyzed and top 3 action plans for People, process and machines are prioritized and tracked.18.Ideas and concerns: First feedback is given within one day; final feedback is given within 2 weeks.Monthly activities:
19. The Pre MPS inputs are documented (Capacity and Skill Management) and the Master Production Schedule (MPS) action plans are understood and tracked in Tier meetings 20. The Internal bottlenecks (Man & Machine) for each production line are known and actions are documented in Pre MPS meeting21. Skill Matrix is updated, and Job Rotation plans are prepared as a part of the pre MPS Meetings.22. Participating in LLW events.23. Supervise and carry out corrective maintenance and emergency repairs to minimize downtime.24. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all production equipment and facility systems. 25. Maintain AMC & Critical spares for all the critical equipment and backup plan for the non-critical equipment. 26. Manage the maintenance team, including scheduling, task assignment, and training
Qualifications:
- Diploma (Electro-Mechanical/Electronics / Electrical)
- 3+ Years of experience production or maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment .
