In this role the Mechanical Drafter will actively support engineering activities related to Aerospace products including the creation and modification of detailed CAD models and drawings primarily using Catia V5 and UG NX
Position: Associate Engineer – Mechanical Design
Must have Skillsets: Strong Catia V5 tool Knowledge, GD and T, Good Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals, communication skills, Stakeholder Communication and documentation.
Good to have: UG NX knowledge, Manufacturing process knowledge, Teamcenter, experience on working in electromechanical products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- 1 to 3 Years of experience in Catia V5 application with strong skills in modelling, assembly & drafting.
- Knowledge on UG NX CAD application is added advantage.
- Mandatory experience with Teamcenter/PLM systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and BOM’s
- Working experience on ECN/CR/CO is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of mechanical fundamentals and drawing standards.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience on product support tasks and updating production documents.
- Strong attention to details and commitment to high quality deliverables.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to coordinate with U.S/ European customers.
- Applied knowledge of GD & T.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge on machine design, materials, and manufacturing processes
