Boeing India Pvt Ltd is currently looking for Associate Process Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India.


Position Responsibilities

  • The person will be responsible for activities involving Process Development, Process Implementation, and Process deployment.

  • Focused on improving processes and managing process change management as needed.

  • Provides technical guidance on processes for alignment to the engineering team.

  • Work independently within a team environment to manage the Software processes.

  • Support process deployment to PDM by engaging with internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in electronics engineering or equivalent discipline with a minimum of 5+ years of work related experience in aerospace engineering domain particularly pertaining to hardware development projects. 

  • Experience in development of processes to meet DO-254, MIL-HDBK-516C and FAR is mandatory.

  • Experience in process asset development, process implementation and process deployment is mandatory.

  • Should have good experience in development, review and baseline of process documents per DO-254 Guideline.

  • Full life cycle exposure in FPGA development is mandatory.

  • Experience in determining the process to be used for FAA compliance, properly document processes and identifying opportunities for synergy & integration specifically in simplifying complex processes.

  • Basic knowledge in ASIC/FPGA/PLD design, circuit analysis, hardware design and VHDL programming.

  • Proven experience to trace from a PHAC to design deliverables for production for quality improvements.

  • Proven experience in setting up quality management processes in hardware domain.

  • Proven experience in establishing a hardware development quality process encompassing various domains like FPGA/ASIC design and verification per DO254, printed circuit board design and first article inspection.

  • Good Technical writing skill in English is a must for this role to ensure good quality of process documentation.

  • Good Understanding of Military Standards.

  • Basic understanding of various engineering disciplines such as electronics, mechanical, & systems especially in areas of product/processes relating to design, test, hardware, avionics to optimize design of products, parts, systems or processes.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Good knowledge on AS9100 and CMMI may be desirable.

  • Knowledge of the tool set –DOORS, Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence etc) will be an added advantage.

  • Must be able to understand complex architectural and networking concepts and quickly learn and apply tools and processes to enhance business process and service delivery. 

  • Must demonstrate strong problem resolution and process management skills, as well as have prior experience with complex PDM systems.

  • Be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimum supervision, positive attitude and highest ethics. 

  • Proactively seek information and direction to successfully complete the statement of work.

  • Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team. 

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours (early or late as needed) to interface with Boeing personnel around the world.

  • Demonstrate strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary to effectively interact with globally located colleagues and customers.

  • Experience with producing engineering metrics and reports.

  • Experience in Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and six sigma methodologies. Green / Black belt certification is desirable.

  • Support engineering organizations and prepare data for engineering/program release.

  • Review/enhance supplier statements of work for configuration management task.​

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience.).

This position does offer relocation within INDIA.
