The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.
Job Summary
Candidate will work with Principal Software Engineer on projects that have been pre-engineered to increase internal efficiency and/or technologies/capabilities adjacent to program needs.
Our objective is to engage a candidate in advance of graduation, train them as an intern then retain them after graduation.
Job Responsibilities
• Support engineering with routine engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks• Work independently on daily tasks• Under direction, responsible for completing process documentation• Assist in the creation of documentation to maintain equipment• Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED• Junior/Senior level college student majoring in Software Engineering or Computer Science • Novice technical expertise and beginning familiarity with the shop/laboratory and equipment
