Your day-to-day
- Lead or participate in studies to evaluate or determine the feasibility of new equipment or improvement of existing ones, considering technical constrains, timeline and the impact on customers.
- Provide support and management for maintenance routines, implementing predictive maintenance concepts through retrofitting of machinery and electrical panels.
- Support production teams with training related to the implementation of new machinery and troubleshooting of bugs.
- Manage automation suppliers and act as the internal point of contact for automation-related matters.
- Assist in resolving process-related issues related to machinery that may cause safety concerns.
- Deploy and enhance automation and robotic control and communication solutions on the Shopfloor.
Who we are looking for
- Experience of 2/3 years in automation role in a structured company.
- Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts, effective facilitation and coaching skills, trustable internal consultant.
- Knowledge of robot and PLC programming languages with demonstrated ability to support manufacturing processes to increase production capability.
- Good knowledge of Italian and English.
Ideally, you will also have
- Master Degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
- 2/3 years applicable experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive)
- Familiarity standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949 procedures
- Continuous improvement and Lean Techniques knowledge
