As an Avionics Engineering Technical Lead and Product Owner, you will provide technical leadership of the AMMM Navigation and Radar team within the Comm, Nay, and Sensors group; as well as, manage various backlog items and decide which features each product will have according to customer needs. The selected team member is expected to have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles within navigation and/or radar disciplines as well as knowledge and experience with LM Aero processes for subcontract technical oversight, integration testing, and requirements decomposition. A well-qualified applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and critical thinking skills. In addition, the individual should be organized and able to track multiple projects at once.
Ability to mentor early career engineers and
briefings to program technical leadership will be necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in
Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related
STEM discipline or equivalent
experience/combined education
Professional experience in Avionics
(TAWS/GPWS, GCAS, radar, station keeping, EGI,
GPS, Flight Management Systems) or a related
field
Significant Experience with analyzing, writing,
and managing requirements

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
