Boeing Ukraine Engineering & Technology Center is seeking an Mechanical-Hydraulics Systems Engineer.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment.
• Performs detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• Analyzes process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of problems.
• Participates with partners to develop potential preventive or corrective actions and implementation.
• Analyzes data to provide material review dispositions for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment.
• Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).
• Utilize Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques to investigate and identify solutions for any problems
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture.
• Participates in technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection.
• Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Applied Mechanics or related fields.
• 3+ or more years of engineering experience.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English language, Ukrainian language will be an asset.
• Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Education/Skills):

• Experience in a production-related field such as Manufacturing, Quality, Production Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality
• Experience in analyzing, assessing and interpreting various types of data to produce detailed quick analyses to senior and executive management
• Experience in small team management
• Curious; proactive approach to learning and development with a passion for systems engineering, aerospace and aviation
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated a strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned work with a history of meeting commitments.
• Ability to adjust priorities to multiple demands and unanticipated events.
• Able to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Ph.D., Master+3 years related work experience).
