None/Not RequiredThe Collins Aerospace Avionics Test Engineering organization is a global engineering team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit as well as external customers, including armed services and airlines, both domestic and international.
The organization is looking for a highly skilled Build Technician to support exemplary technical builds. As a key member of the Avionics engineering support team, the Build Technician will collaborate closely with technicians and engineers to build and ensure new test solutions meet all requirements prior to deployment.
Provide building support for test assemblies for research, design, development, or manufacturing activities for various internal customers.
QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:
2+ years’ experience building test assemblies, fixtures, cables, and/or circuit card assemblies (CCAs)
QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:
Knowledge of different soldering materials, fluxes, and solders, and their appropriate usage. Familiarity with soldering equipment, tools, and accessories.

The salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
