Minimum Education
- Associates degree in computer science, courseware development, education, network administration, software engineering, math, or physics, or related field is highly desirable. Relevant experience will be considered.
Minimum Experience
- Two years of experience in CBT and related authoring systems is preferred.
- One year of experience using 3D software
- Two years of experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of applying sound Instructional Systems Design (ISD) methodologies is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to learn Learning Content Management System (LCMS) software quickly
- General understanding of Cyber Security and Information Assurance as it relates to the United States Department of Defense.
- Working knowledge of Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) / Aviation Industry CBT Committee (AICC) standards.
- Solid knowledge of the ISD process.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Animate
- Basic knowledge of peripheral interface and microprocessor applications.
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
- Ability to work independently or in conjunction with others in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to exercise judgment in interpreting instructions and conform to established standards for ISD document and training materials design, format, word usage, and writing style.
- Ability to assume responsibility for accuracy and completeness of work produced.
- Ability to use computerized database, word processing, and computer-based training tools to develop and revise ISD documents and training materials.
- Possess, or have the ability to obtain, a SECRET security clearance.
